Description
The Sialylglycopeptide(SGP) is an N-linked glycopeptide as a main component of hen’s egg yolk. SGP and its related substances have effectively antimicrobial and antiviral properties because of the bi-antennary structure of glycans and sialo-oligosaccharides. Many researches have been conducted to research the drug design for increasing reactivity and stability in the blood by modification of glycans.However, naturally occurred glycans are heterogeneous and complexed mixture. Due to this character, synthesizing homogenous glycans were thought to be difficult.
Applications
In many studies,the derivatives based on SGP reveal the potential to be developed into new prophylactic drugs of viral and bacterial infections.Meanwhile,because of the simple structure and the remarkable binding ability, this biomimetic receptor can represent a versatile tool for glycoscience.In particular, it is applied to ADC (Antibody-Drug Conjugate) preparation via glycans on the antibody as a novel linker.
Advantages
Due to the low content in eggs and the high cost in preparation process,the high price restricts the application of the SGP products.Now the product, contents 50%SGP, can be supplied with KGs capacity, it will improve the preparation efficiency at a competitive cost for your high purity products.
